Mum and Mother
Here I have made my Mum's and Mother-in-Law's Christmas cards.
My mums, I stamped then added some liquid pearls. Also I used my bow maker to tie the ribbon.
This one I stamped using clearly besotted stamps. Made yet another bow, as you can see I like my new toy! I then added some miniature buttons bought from hearts and crafts at Walkern.
My poor Mother has dementia, it's very sad to to see her she doesn't even open her eyes now, but she has a wonderful family who support and visit her regularly. In some ways I am glad my late husband doesn't have to see her like it as it would of upset him so much.
I will be back with some more posts soon x

Son's New Car
I had another busy weekend, took my son to pick up his new car, he has started an apprenticeship in paint and bodywork and now has to travel further so wanted something more economical. We picked it up Saturday morning. Then back home to pack for a weekend in London with friends.
Hubby and I stayed at the Landmark Hotel which was very nice. We had a little wander and a coffee at Gail's Artisan Bakery. Then went out for a meal at The Guinea Grill superb food although quite a small ancient inn so tables were quite close together but very nice. Then some christmas shopping on Sunday with my daughter who came and joined me while the boys went off to a car auction at Sotherbys.
Last night had a little time for some makes so thought I better get busy on some christmas cards so here is my makes using Clearly Besotted Dies, very please with the results. The Merry & Bright wood accent I got from Hearts and Crafts lovely local shop. Hoping to do some more crafting this weekend so maybe be back soon. xx

Family Weekend
I used Pink Petticoat paper designs on this card I printed it onto a shimmery silver card. Then printed the text over the top in a purple although this photo makes it look like silver. Added a bit of sewing, bling and some ribbon. This is for my niece whose birthday is at the weekend. I am really hoping to do some christmas cards this weekend. Although my son is racing in his gokart so ill have to go and support him on Sunday.
I had a lovely weekend last week, spent it with my Mum, Brother and Sister in Devon. My Brother was going for a visit so I hitched a lift and stayed with Mum. We went out for a meal with my Brothers Partner and my Sisters husband which was very nice and my lovely Brother treated us all. I will be meeting up with him again next weekend in London for Champagne buffet at The Landmark hotel to celebrate my husbands Brother-in-laws big birthday so more family celebrations can't wait.

Xmas Pud Workshop
Firstly a cushion I have knitted for my daughters bedroom, its was nice to knit some cable for a change. Think I might do some more as I got 3 for 2 deal on the chunky wool.
Here we are at the xmas pud workshop at The Landmark Hotel in London. We had a lovely day we was greeted with a glass of champagne. There was 8 of us in total doing the class with a French chef and Italian Cocktail bar man so all rather yummy including the cocktail! We mixed our puds and got to bring them home ready for christmas along with a lovely christmas apron and Chefs hat. We then made our own egg nog cocktail followed by a lovely lunch and pudding tasting.
It was lovely day spent with friends and family.
A bit retail therapy in there too although crafting supplies.
Well I need to get packing now as off to mull for a week hoping that hubby keeps the rally car in one piece. Bye for now x

Power Cut
Last night we had a power cut for 6hrs from 3.15pm oh how we all rely on electric especially as it turns dark! So whilst deciding what to do I remembered I needed to make a card for Mums birthday fast approaching as I am away next week. So by torch light I produced this card. Mum likes owls so I used my new ribbon from Hearts and Crafts, where I also bought the tag as well. Quite pleased with the result. Happy Wednesday everyone downward slope now to the weekend and already October so might start on some xmas cards soon.

Home from Hols
Returned from a week in Palma, which turned out not quite as planned as my Brother ended up in hospital on his birthday so missed his planned party sadly. After 24hrs in hospital he was released diagnosed with blood poisoning. But the next evening he proposed to his girl friend Ali so all lovely in the end.
I even had some time yesterday for some crafting made a couple of cards this one for a friend, as you probably guessed….
These Pictures were taken the evening before the party at a dinner which luckily did take place and my brother sat on our table which was great .
The Family, Pete, Christian, Me, Ben and Sam.
Daniel was busy back home working.

Doily Days
Morning all, I used my Martha Stewart Circle edge punch on this card which is very effective. Makes a nice doily. Also the fishtail makes another appearance.
Hubby and Me lunch stop about half way ish I think. Amazing views.
This was me as we set off on our climb up Benmore as you can see the coats still on, but it soon came off as we made our accent.
The rest of our party making their way, next time I go climbing I will definitely be taking sticks, as Alexander did, the youngest in our party. The ground was very uneven and boggy in places.
