Wedding Card

Enjoyed a bit of Sunday crafting today made a card for a wedding we have in two weeks time, photos to follow of the big day.

Also made a couple of anniversary cards which i am sure will please the house of hearts, Jules?

I have a had a nice few days down in Devon with my Mum and Sister. Went to Exmouth and Teignmouth.

Well I certainly need to get back into the swing of work, although I don't want to but needs must. I have a very busy September all weekends are busy away so thats going to fly by. Hopefully catch up in-between with piccys of my travels. Bye for now.

Quick Sunday post

Hi all its nearly midnight so i think time for bed. I made a couple of cards today in-between visiting my mother-in-law in her home as its her birthday this week and i will be away as i am going to visit my on tuesday down in Devon. Done a bit of sewing on these two and used promarkers to stamp the flowers, not totally successful but hey ho it will do. My be back tomorrow if i get a chance.

My daughter is selling all her Jewellery making equipment and most of it is brand-new if anyones interested send me a message. Bye for now x

Scrapbags Crop

Heres a quick one I made last night as needed to get it in the post today, last minute panic! Quite simple. going along the lines of less is more. Well I quite liked it.

This one I made using some stamps and die cuts, for my mother in laws birthday sadly she is in a home now and has dementia so probably wont even realise who its from.



Lastly this is one of the pages I completed at Scrapbags crop on Saturday, had a lovely day with the girls, although my usual partner in crime couldn't make it, but my daughter came with me instead.

I am also ever so slightly excited as I have just been invited by one of my scrapping friends who lives in Devon to a week away scrapping next March just 6 of us, in a cottage in Berkshire.....cant wait.

I am off to Devon next week to visit my mum so hopefully might get to catch up with my scrap buddy as well.

Decorating Still Taking up My Time

Time for a make today, at last.
I used a Little Claire stamp and my new washi tape. Did I say about the punch I purchased in the USA, it was a Martha Stewart, but what i didn't realise is you have to have a second part to it to punch a circle derrrrr can you imagine how annoyed I was. Well luckily I found it on amazon and it has been despatched so hopefully its on its way phew!
Still decorating spare room so I can then move into my new craft shack, but I think its going to a long job as now having ceiling re plastered. Oh well Patience is a virtue...

Holiday catch up

 Just returned from an exhausting two weeks in Florida with all the family. The kids loved the pool especially diving in to land on the lilos, which i might add cost me for four new ones because they kept bursting them, well Dad did!

We hired segways and went on a segway tour to Celebration which was great fun too. The kids loved these too.

Me and my girl at St Augustine which is well worth a visit, we stayed the night here it is a lovely spanish themed old town. Nice to get away from all the parks and see something different.

The Atlantis Shuttle was amazing at Kennedy Space Centre we always have a full day here well worth taking one of the bus tours.

Well back to reality, been busy striping wall paper today in our spare room ready to re decorate. This i am hoping is going to lead to me have a new craft den in the garden which i will be able to organise better then my craft balcony as it has a bit more room so will keep you posted. I did also do some craft shopping in the USA so have some lovely goodies looking forward to using them soon. So back soon hopefully with some makes.

Midweek crafting

What a surprise, a bit of midweek crafting i done the stencilling at the weekend but it didn't work very well so i cut out the best bit and used it on this card. Quite please with the way it turned out anyway.

Well better get boys off to school, work to do maybe ill be back later but don't hold your breath x

Sunday Baking

Well its another very hot day here in Hertfordshire. But I still managed to do some baking and a little bit of crafting. Well thats it I am off to sit in the sun as I am not the least bit interested in tennis or F1
