Driving Lessons

Some times I struggle to do what I want on my blog it has a mind of its own, I obviously need blogging lessons.

Anyway Above is the start of my latest project using Hearts and Crafts lovely christmas stocking material this one is the nordic style but they also do the traditional style as well.

Today both my twin boys had there driving lessons. One was very confident and one was slightly nervous…the instructor said they both did well. So now for theory test and see how they go...

Finally a card made using my newly arrived Uniko stamps Gerbera I stamped the image then embossed. I coloured them with watercolour pencils and cut them out (I have now ordered the die cuts to match). Mounted the flowers on stitched die cut panel and die cut a banner for the sentiment. Added some ribbon and bling and a little wink of stellar and of course a little heart just for you June x

This card is for my lovely Mum whose birthday is the end of the week, But I will be jetting off to Spain with friends on Thursday can't wait for a bit of time with hubby. Photos to follow.

Sorry for absence

Apologies for the long absence, I guess I have just been busy with holidays and boys doing exams and results and of course some crafting in between. I have been going to a quilting club every thursday at Hearts and Crafts in Walkern near my home a really lovely shop run by a lovely lady Bev. I made this baby quilt for a new arrival to our extended family. I have sewn around the castles and some clouds, been a long job so I hope they like it when we get round to delivering it.

A male card, always hard to get ideas for male cards I made this one taking accents from different ideas on google images, quite pleased with the results.

I also made a wooden tag for the beautiful new arrival Jessica, to put with the quilt.
More castles, well I have a busy few months a head. We are planning to put our house on the market so will be busy with decorators and packing up so may be absent again for a while.  Will try and pop in now and again enjoy your bank holiday Monday. xxx

Absence makes the heart grow fonder?

Sorry for the absence, been busy as usual. I have been doing a patchwork course with Hearts and Crafts which has now finished, but looking forward to signing up to another soon.
Here is a small square we practised some random stitching. I have also done some dresden, some quilt as you go and pin wheels i will post some more pieces soon.

Well I was lucky enough to win two tickets to Arsenal, club level match game so I took my friend Louise we had a nice evening, although they did loose!

I recently bought some dies from dies to die for and in my package was some cut out pieces, which of course I have now had to buy the dies for. This card I made using one of the die cut pieces I added a bit of bling, simple but effective I thought. Hope to be back soon as I have got lots of bits to show just finding the time to do the posts. So hopefully back soon x

Devon Catch Up.

Busy Busy, quick post as have to get in the office. Had an eventful trip to Devon visiting Mum and Sister as my car had problems with a cracked wheel and ended up coming back on a recovery truck!

But found time to take Mum out to Teignmouth and also out on the moors to Princetown. Sneaked a couple cream teas in, but happy to say the diet is still going well lost 17lbs so far.

Mum with Christian, Sam and Ben. Sam had the honours of pushing the wheelchair typical boys got off lightly. At least the weather was good.

A selfie in Paignton. The boys had a game of crazy golf lots of Male competitiveness going on as usual.

And lastly a bit of quick crafting on Sunday needed a card for a friends daughter. The scrap page (at top of post) I done on my weekend with the girls using a Scrapbags Kit.

Lampshade Making

Hi All, this week I went on a lampshade making course and here is my result. The Tutor was Detola and Geek, and the workshop was held at Heartsandcrafts in Walkern. I had a lovely evening, I chose my material from Bev's stock and she has some love choices. Pleased with my result, now I need to go buy a lamp to put it on as I have no where in my house that takes a shade.

Valentines surprise, my husband and the boys went off to Goodwood Friday night for some motor rallying a friend was taking part in. I went into the bedroom and the ensuite door was shut…unusual so opened the door to a lovely surprise awaiting me. Then Saturday morning I am making my bed picked up my top pillow and in-between was my valentine card so I had slept on it all night without noticing how funny I am obviously not a princess!

and finally some Sunday crafting I made this card using my new stamps from sarntangle blinged it up with stickles and liquid pearls I might enter this  in CAS Challenge as they have an orange challenge game 33 here goes. Well now I need to go organise for a day of scrapping next Saturday with the lovely ladies at Scrapbags.
This is the Inspiration.

I have to say Jules you don't have to worry it won't be-becoming my full time job!
My heat gun done very well I quite expected it to give up and maybe suffer over exhaustion, but it lasted the whole day rather amazing. Not great photos but I was exhausted too.

Well thats me done going to sit down and probably fall asleep. Have a great week x
