Snowy Start

Woke up today to a layer of snow (photo Below) but the sun came out and it started to thaw, just a bit left now.

Here are some of my makes a birthday card for a friend and another for my nephews wife all posted and delivered by now hopefully.

I use Inky Doodle stamps country check for this card first stamped the background then added the hearts. Added some ribbon and bling. Cut the sentiment with my letter dies and glossy accented them.

This one I have made for hubby for Valentines day using clearly besotted stamps and few others mixed in. I was going to enter this one into a challenge at Time Out but couldn't workout how to do it! Oh well maybe next time.

Coffee tomorrow morning with the girls, diet update 7lb now lost being really good and exercising loads.

Weekend in Rome booked for my birthday so very happy girl. Hopefully it will be a bit warmer then here today. Have a great weekend xx

Sisters Birthday

Last week I visited Devon for work purposes but was able to tie it in with seeing my Sister, her Husband and Mum so we had dinner together , I also was able to hand deliver her card as I wasn't sure how I was going to post it as it was kind of 3D.

Yesterday I had some sad news my auntie had lost her battle with cancer, so another sympathy card needs to be made :(

I had a nice walk today with my as usual reluctant daughter but a bit of persuasion managed to get her out oh and there might have been some bribery as well! Hope to be back soon, I have made some more cards and next weekend have to start on some wedding invitations.
Have a great week, oh and I have lost 5lb so far….. xx

Sad Day

I heard some sad news today the very lovely lady who introduced me to Scrap booking through Creative Memories lost her mother, so I made this sympathy card using Clearly Besotted stamp and die and sentiment stamp. Thinking of her and her family at this sad time.

I am going to Devon this week to do with work but the good thing is I will be able to go and see my lovely Mum and stay with her the night.

This card I made using Snippets another one to add to my male collection. I hope you are all settling in to 2015, back to normality. I am looking forward to my week away with the girls scrapping in March and I have now said I will go with another group in April to Suffolk for a long weekend so looking forward to both of them and lots of crafting. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend xx

Miserable Day, but Sunshine in my Craft room

Well it has been a very dull foggy damp day here in the South. I went and had my last Coffee and cake with a friend and daughter this morning for a while as the diet starts tomorrow, yet again I here you say well I am going to try harder and at least loose a stone by my birthday at beginning of March. Karen who works for me is starting as well so we will be having a bit of a competition and putting a £1 in the diet fund for every one put on! Yes Karen did win last time!

So as the weather is rubbish I had a bit of time for some crafting and this New Year I am planning to spend more time home crafting and maybe that will keep me away from all that cake!  Apart from going out for walks, I have order a fitbit which will monitor my exercise so will be out walking more.

My makes: the first one I used my new Inkylicious  stamps along with Clearly Besotted stamps and dies I thought it might be a good card for a male birthday. The second make I did use an idea I saw on another blog but can't remember whose it was sorry, I used several die cuts stamped Thank you and mounted then added some liquid pearls.

Finally the this one I used more Clearly Besotted stamps and dies and a bit of bling to finish off.

Well the fires is alight, the roast is in the oven and I am going to head back up to my craft balcony. Thanks for visiting back soon x
