Birthday Weekend

Today was my Daughters 21st Birthday we had 21 friends and family around for a BBQ, luckily the sun finally came out in time for us to sit outside. She had some lovely presents.

Here she is cutting the Rainbow cake i made for her finally revealed, i think she was pleased with it.

Well its been a busy weekend but hopefully it was all worth it, as my daughter enjoyed her birthday and she is a very special daughter, wish her Dad could have seen her celebrate  her big day but i am sure he was looking down on her x

Card Makes on a sunny day

Its been a beautiful day today in Hertfordshire, went out and kitted the boys ready for D of E next weekend. Then had a bit of crafting time this afternoon. Made my lovely daughters 21st card ready for next Sunday she has gone away for the week so thought id get it made, and i have to say i am quite chuffed with both my makes today.

This wedding acceptance is for my husbands cousin who's getting married later in the year.

Well i hope the house of hearts likes them too as they have lots of hearts on them..... :) Jules x

Well better go sort out sunday roast, hope the week stays bright and sunny.

Weekend here again

Well I have had a nice week a few days in Devon visiting my mum and sister. Tidied mums garden trying to make it a bit easier to manage as she cant do it.

It was hard work shovelling 2ton of stone but i had a little helper who done a grand job. We visited Buckfast Abbey in between the gardening so not all work. Hopefully will finish making the rest of the layers for my rainbow cake tomorrow and then off to party tomorrow night. Catch up over the weekend hopefully.

Baking Saturday

Had a good day started with my early Zumba class. Then I started baking my daughters 21st rainbow cake have made three layers today Orange, Green and Pink in the freezer now until i get time to make another three layers. Pictures to follow on her birthday 9th June.

Also made a couple of cards, a 21st invite and a baby girl card for a friend of my husbands who had a baby girl yesterday.

Well I am off tomorrow to surprise my Mum in Devon going on the train with my daughter and youngest son for a few days till wednesday. Hope everyone has a lovely holiday weekend. Back soon x

Some Saturday Crafting

Well as you can see i have been a busy bee today, probably should be doing housework but hey ho who cares.

This one is another one i tried out with the new stencils, not perfect, but it is only my second attempt. Well i am going to a bit of knitting now and watch the box. Might be back tomorrow if i get a chance.

Lazy Crafting Saturday

Having a nice me day, hubby is away all weekend so went to Zumba this morning, had a coffee with a friend who is off on holiday today. Then decided to make an acceptance card for my friends daughters 21st but ended up deciding it will be her actual birthday card. Done a bit of Zentangle and it went from there really. Now off to meet my daughter from work and going to look for a new swim cosi for holiday. Hopefully back later with another make.

Made this card with my new stencils i brought at last crop day. First attempt at stencilling not perfect but hey ho! Just got back from college done portrait photos tonight quite pleased with some of them. This ones of my friend Louise.
